Egle Maternity {Mountain House, CA | Maternity Photographer}

When I first began my photography journey I never would have thought I would love doing maternity portraits. 3 years later and mamas to be are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. There’s a incredibly unique beauty to them that you don’t necessarily see in other portraits. There’s nothing like getting ready to meet this life you are creating and taking pictures with your unborn child wondering what they’ll look like and sound like and just knowing your life is about to completely change.  Being with child is an incredibly beautiful thing, even though you may not feel beautiful, you absolutely are and I love being able to capture that beauty and show my client how truly gorgeous they are with this little being inside them.

I adore the amazing light we got in these portraits of this beautiful couple getting ready to bring their first born baby Neo into the world. Don’t let her fool you though, it was freezing outside and she was such a trooper pretending to make it look nice and warm.:)Thank you Egle and Tim for choosing me photograph this special special time in your lives and congratulations on the arrival of your beautiful baby boy!!

The Lovely Katie Baldi {Santa Barbara Beach Portraits}

Last Summer, Katie and I headed down to Santa Barbara to shoot a gorgeous beach front wedding and decided we might as well make a much needed girls weekend out of it because really who goes to Santa Barbra and doesn’t make time for play?? A little shopping, a fun night out on the town, good food, a crazy amount of laughing and of course an impromptu shoot on the beach made it one of the funnest girls weekends I’d had in a long time.  On our last night there we headed down to the beach to do some fun portraits of Katie, taking advantage of the beautiful Santa Barbara sunset. It was so GORGEOUS.

For most photographers, posing our clients is generally pretty easy but just because we can pose our clients with ease doesn’t necessarily mean we can pose ourselves very well when it’s our turn to smile. In fact, most of us completely freeze in front of the camera BUT Katie is not like most photographers. She’s as confident in front of the camera as she behind the camera. She just knows how to rock it and it makes photographing her incredibly fun not to mention how photogenic she is. I mean truly someone who is just as gorgeous inside as she is out. Seriously Katie is there anything wrong with you at all?!? Amazing mom, great friend, talented photographer, supppperrrr funny, confident like none other, and completely gorgeous. If I didn’t love you so much I might hate you…… I kid. I kid…..sorta…..:)

Enjoy! xoxo

Jessie’s Senior Portraits {Brentwood, CA | Senior Portrait Photographer}

Let me just say, I am not a senior portrait photographer. At least not at the moment. BUT one of my best friends asked me to photograph her daughters senior pictures and after photographing hers I just might think about doing them more often! I love photographing this girl. She’s just gorgeous, inside and out and she’s always so much fun to shoot. Thanks Jessie for being my practice model and trusting me with doing your senior pictures. I simply adore you. xoxo
