Mama’s Girl {Children’s Photography | Livermore/Pleasanton, CA Photographer}

In an ideal world I would take my little girl out for pictures way more often than I do but with all the busyness of everyday life, it just doesn’t happen, plus she’s over me shooting her pictures every 5 seconds so getting her to go out is almost impossible these days. So I’ve finally come up with a little “Photographer Mom” trick…..whenever I go to a session that she’s able to come with me on I try to get her dressed up a little, get there 15 minutes early and tell her I need her to help me “test the light” before our client arrives. She always complies and the minute she’s in front of the camera she lights up and gets into full kid model mode. She loves being in front of the camera when she’s in front of it and eats it up. This was my recent super quick fall session of her in Livermore before a client session and really all I needed was just a few minutes to get a handful of great shots that showed her cute little personality and we were good to go. In 2016 my goal is one session a month so when we make our annual calendar we can put the corresponding shoot from each month and see exactly what she looked like one year prior. Great idea right?! I love looking back to see how much she’s changed. It’s really amazing how much they change in such a short period of time. And although we take a million snaps of our kids on our cell phones, nothing beats beautiful professional photos of your kids with someone who can really pull out their personality and capture it on camera. Catch it while you can because the time flies by faster than you realize!headshots for 8 year old little girl
