There are certain venues that just work. The lighting is perfect, the getting ready room is perfect, the reception location is perfect and there’s a million places to do the bridal party and bride and groom portraits. It’s basically a wedding photographers paradise. And that’s exactly how I feel about Poppy Ridge in beautiful Livermore, CA. It’s located on a hill in the back of Livermore and overlooks some of the beautiful Livermore winery’s. I second shot this modern wedding back in June immediately after shooting a quick morning wedding of my own so needless to say it was a busy day but I’m so glad I was able to shoot this wedding because it was simply gorgeous. The bride wore one of my favorite wedding dresses to date. It was perfectly simple but had such beautiful detailing and she was drop dead gorgeous in it.  She scheduled a ton of time for her bride and groom photos, highly recommended I might add, and the staff at Poppy Ridge took us out on the golf course where we stopped at several locations to capture them as husband and wife. It was truly a beautiful wedding with many great details and lots of thought put into their special day. Hope you enjoy the images I captured!
